Hey Courtney, it's me Sarah (from TMK)! I gotta say I love your sketches! I especially like all the hatchings and textures you put into them, it adds so much interest and really compliments some of the simpleness in your drawings. I pretty much always prefer sketches to finish work too. So much more life to them, even in drawings like these where the characters are static. Keep it up! :D
