Hey You Guys!

Recently I had the privilege of contributing a piece to the Hey You Guys! charity art auction, which raises money to keep the arts in schools. The theme is 80s movies. To find out more about the auction and movie screening head over to their website: Hey You Guys!


It was difficult to choose a subject seeing there are so many wonderful and unique characters from which to choose. After much thought and many failed sketches, I finally settled on the Childlike Empress from The NeverEnding Story



I've wanted to paint the Childlike Empress ever since I first read the book a few years ago, so it was fun being able to paint her for such a great cause.

    Hey Mark, thank you so much! That was my first time being in an auction, so I was thrilled when I found out it was purchased. Glad you like it and that it went to a good home :)
